Historic Prowse Farm is a scenic, multi-purpose venue with a location second to none: 55 acres of scenic landscape known as the "front lawn of the foothills of the Great Blue Hills", nestled beautifully at the border of Canton and Milton, Massachusetts, located off Rte. 95/128. Formerly known as the world famous "Forbes Farm," home of J. Malcolm Forbes's world champion trotting standardbred horses and later to Martha Peabody Prowse, Prowse Farm is available for your next special event or wedding.

Can you imagine being transported by horse and carriage to your reception. Picture your wedding party gathering in the breathtaking vista of Great Blue Hill as the backdrop to your celebration. Dine in the spacious King's Grant tent and dance by candlelight or moonlight.

History abounds here. The Prowse Farm mansion and 120 x 50 foot tent offer creative settings for your special moments. All manner of services are available for your event including: catering, bands, disc jockeys, national recording artists, limousines, carriage rides and even group hay rides!

Some of the highly successful recreational/educational programs and events held on the property over the years include the annual Farm City Festival, Carriage Driving Event, Native American Pow-Wow, Artists In Residence Event and Greater Boston Family Day & Jewish Music Festival, to name only a few.

The Prowse Farm property includes:

Acres of open space for tents, show grounds, staging, carriage rides, vendor booths, etc.  8-stall barn and several corrals. Training/race track encircling acres of open grounds for carriage rides, equestrian exhibitions, etc. Main Residence includes a large patio, museum, meeting rooms and kitchen.
